Sophie Wegener Trio

Sophie Wegener, “Germany’s number one bossa nova interpreter ” (Welt am Sonntag).

She always knows how to seduce her audience with her “sensual-warm and electric voice. Singing in English, French and also in Portuguese  she creates a colorful and relaxed atmosphere” (Jazzthing).

We met each other at a private party with a jam session and immediately connected with each other. Her voice and charisma fascinated me just as much as the sound of my cello attracted her. Alex Czinke’s velvet guitar tone blended perfectly with Sopie’s voice and my cello.
